FWF in x11iraf-v2.0BETA-src.tar.gz

Hi, I'm tinkering around the sources in x11iraf-v2.0BETA-src.tar.gz

In the obm directory there is an ObmW subdirectory. This subdirectory contains a large number of Free Widget Foundation (FWF) files and based on the timestamp on those files compared to FWF's release history, they must have come from before FWF version 3.54. Unfortunately, I can locate no version of FWF before 3.8 on the net. They seem to be lost to time.

By any chance, do you happen to have a tarball of the version of FWF used for this build? Or any old FWF releases older than 3.8?

I can't find anything in the form of the original distribution, the sources included in X11IRAF are certainly of an early vintage but I can't say specifically which version.

Using the Wayback machine I was able to find a v3.7 release at

Thanks. Yes it helps.

With some further digging I was able to find

fwf-3.62.tar.Z

from ftp://ftp.fi.netbsd.org/pub/gnu/funet/historical-funet-gnu-area-from-early-1990s/fwf/.

Still at least 8 releases away from the version X11IRAF used but closer. I'll let you know if I manage to locate the closet version.
