iraf installation

Hi all,
I encounter some problems when installing the IRAF2.14 on fedora8. The problem were:
when I execute the command ./install -n it show error on:
First problem,
Checking for iraf user account ... [ OK ]
Checking iraf user login directory ... [ FAIL ]
*** The iraf user login directory appears to be incorrect.
*** For the given iraf root this path should be '/home/naz/iraf/local',
*** please edit the /etc/passwd file to change this.
I checked at the /etc/passwd file it shows the same as it suggest which is /home/naz/iraf/local but somehow this error statement keeps on appear when I execute the installation command even though I have fixed the problem.
Secondly,
Creating File Links

Checking for /iraf symlink ... [ OK ]
Checking /usr/include directory ... [ OK ]
Creating <iraf.h> symlink ... ln: creating symbolic link `/usr/include/iraf.h': File exists
[ FAIL ]
Creating iraf command links in local bin dir ... [ OK ]
Marking system update time hlib$utime ... [ OK ]
This problem appear when I execute ./install as root . When I execute ./install -n it show no error in the installation as the statement at the end of the script "installation complete with no error". Please help me to solve this.

Hi Naz,
Looks to me like you've defined the iraf user's home directory to be inside another user's home directory (your own), which isn't normal. Since only one of those users can own the directory, I'm guessing you have a file permission problem. If you're installing IRAF as root, you should probably put the installation in a system-wide directory, eg. /usr/local/iraf or just /iraf. Otherwise, if you're installing in your personal directory, I think you don't want an IRAF user. Probably easiest to install it system wide if you can.
