scisoft beta-1 for Mac Intel: bash vs. csh issues

Trying to install the scisoft mac distribution for Intel mac (beta 1) is producing far more problems vis à vis bash (which we want to use) vs. csh (which scisoft likes) than was the case for the most recent PowerPC distribution. Has anyone worked this through?

Hi Karen,
It's too busy a time for me to deal with scisoft issues, but it appears they simply repackage the irafnet distribution from here. If all you need from this is IRAF then I'd suggest using the standard distro files and installation instructions from this site, if you want the rest of the software provided by Scisoft then you should probably comment on their site for help. Note that IRAF too prefers csh to bash but the installation is less dependent on "other" environment settings.
