ximtool and Red Hat 9

Hi--
Ran into a problem installing ximtool into RedHat 9. The error message
is as follows:
"Incorrectly built binary which accesses errno, h_errno, or -res directly.
Needs to be fixed"
Installing from x11iraf-v1.3.1-bin.redhat.tar.gz
I can display an image into the result from this installation,
but cannot control anything in image.
Grateful for advice.
Cheers, Drew

This is a known problem on RH9 and newer systems that can be fixed by using the X11IRAF V1.3.2 snapshot release available from
ftp://iraf.noao.edu/pub/fitz/x11iraf-v1.3.2-bin.redhat.tar.gz
As for the "control" problem, be sure the NumLock key is not enabled, this changes the event mask and keeps the contrast stretching and menus from working.
