Hi there:
A question about writing cl script. I try to use arc cosine (acos) this
function in the cl script. It seems not work but it works for sin and cos.
The warning message shows "unknown function". How can I use acos in the
script?
Thanks

Hi Wei-Chun,
The asin/acos functions were never implemented in the original
CL for some reason, however they ARE available in the Enhanced CL
(ECL) available from the http://iraf.noao.edu homepage. The ECL is
distributed as a self-installing script, to use it you would just
type 'ecl' instead of 'cl' to begin. Hope this helps.
