Dear collegue
I am trying to use IMFORT to read fits images from within cl.
I compiled the test program minmax, from the iraf example library, on one of
my images and it works correctly.
then I modified it to load the image into a matrix and print some pixel value
for test: the compilation is apparently ok but when I run the program
(defined as a foreign task in the login.cl) from within cl I get:

ERROR: Abnormal termination of child process '??'

Iraf version is 2.12.2-EXPORT running under Linux Mandrake 9.2;
attached is the source code. can you please tel me what is wrong?
