ds9[5469] <Error>: kCGErrorInvalidConnection … Inval

I have IRAF 2.15.1a installed on new OSX 10.7 (Lion).
When running ds9 v.6.1.2 (from scisoft) I get a repeating weird error:

Feb 1 16:21:59 kc-phys-d25gt0l4dhjv.kc.umkc.edu ds9[5471] <Error>: kCGErrorInvalidConnection: CGSGetWindowTags: Invalid connection

This error repeats each time I do something in IRAF like imexam.
Note, imexam works properly, just this pesky error shows up on the command line.

From what I can tell, this is an incompatability between the old (carbon) graphics system API and the newer (cocoa) one, but I couldn't tell you specifically what in DS9 is causing the problem. Other than installing the X11 version of DS9 from SAO, all I can suggest is you write to the author (Bill Joye, wjoye@cfa.harvard.edu) to see if he has a workaround. This is coming from DS9 itself and isn't an IRAF issue.
