im3dtran problem

I have an image of type int npts3[7,4,1,224]. I wanted to rearrange the axes and get rid of the length 1 axis, so I executed
im3dtran npts3[*,*,1,*] npts3_fix 3 1 2
But then I found some problem with the result:
listp npts3[1,3,1,1:6]
1. 77360.
2. 67744.
3. 59050.
4. 55164.
5. 50446.
6. 46594.
listp npts3_fix[1:6,1,3]
1. 77360.
2. 0.
3. 67744.
4. 0.
5. 59050.
6. 0.
Seems like some 32-64 bit issue. I wondered if the problem might be with listpixels, but imstat shows the images to be different. The images are available at http://sun.stanford.edu/~duvall/Iraf/.
I can work around this problem, so I am just reporting it.
