Fitcoords error - ‘segmentation violation’

Hi everyone-
I've been trying to reduce some spectra using IRAF and I've run into a couple of difficulties. To be precise, fitcoords keeps throwing up an error rather than running through. This happens just before the interactive fitting window pops up.
This is the error message:
Longslit coordinate fit name is J1233standard.
Longslit database is database.
Features from images:
J1233standard
ERROR: segmentation violation
called as: `fitcoords (mode=h)'
(The spectrum I'm working on here is J1233standard.fits, hence that bit of the error message.)
System-wise, I'm using IRAF v2.14.1 and Fedora release 11.
I've tried a search of the forums but haven't found a precise equivalent to this problem. So if there's any light anyone could shed, it would be much appreciated!

I can't say what is wrong with the limited information. If you can send me the database files, a header listing for the image, and a listing of the parameters (lpar fitcoords), I can try an reproduce the error. Make sure you don't use orders of 1, the minimum order should be 2.
