nmisc problem again

donzelli wrote on Feb 11, 2011

Hi,
I'm using IRAF 2.13 and recently I've installed the Gemini 1.10 package.
gemini command works ok, however when I try to run any of the subpackages
(like gmos, etc) I have the following error message:

gemini> gmos
ERROR: task `nmisc' has no param file
called as: `cl ()'

I already saw a similar problem in this forum but I did not understand the solution.
I would appreciate any help.
thanks
charly

The message means that either the path to nmisc isn't defined in the hlib$extern.pkg file, it is defined without a trailing '/' on the pathname, the path is incorrect or you didn't install the package sources.

Hi, thanks!

effectively, I have not installed the files.
However, I could not find where to download them.
Can you tell me where to find this package?

thanks again
charly
