Making a CMD

Hi there I'm somewhat new to IRAF I was wondering if there was a good guide out there for helping make a Color Magnitude Diagram in just IRAF. I know how to do aperture or PSF photometry on the individual filters however the problem I get is registering the different datasets as the coordinate systems are different. I've seen it done using Stetson's DAOMATCH/DAOMASTER routines however what do you do if you don't have those.
