IRAF download to a MAC OS X

Hello,
 
I am having a lot of trouble finding step by step instructions on how to get IRAF loaded onto my MAC machine. The online references are very confusing and not clear on how to get this done without a hitch.  Is there something out there that gives unambiguous instructions?

i also installed iraf + xgterm + ds9 in my mac based intel processor.
I found this pdf site helpful
