DAOPHOT: substar fails if photometry file = rejection file

Hi,
I have a script that uses substar. It sometimes happens, that the photometry file and the rejection file are identical. If I run substar in these cases, the resulting fits file is currupted (parts of the images are missing).
I am not sure if that counts as a bug, but I did expect that substar in these cases would just return an unmodified image. That would simplify the script (Now I need to check first if photometry file and rejection file contain identical stars).
I use:
NOAO/IRAFNET PC-IRAF Revision 2.14.1 Mon Sep 15 10:12:05 MST 2008
Cheers,
Moritz
