Subject: Multi slit data
Dear Dr. Valdes,
I've just downloaded the document /iraf/iraf/docs/slits.ps.Z from ftp ftp.noao.edu" but, as written in the noao webpage, there are no figures in the document.Â
Is there a way to get also the figures? I am doing for the first time Multi slit data reduction and the figures would be very helpful during the process.
Thank you very much,
Ana Maria

Hello Ana Maria,
I'm afraid all that is left of this ancient document is the postscript file you found. Â Since the author was outside our group I don't have any legacy access to the source.
I hope the document helps. Â At one time I had hoped to develop a good package for this complex problem but this never happened. Â So you are left with using the generic spectroscopy tools and this document.
Good luck,
Frank Valdes
