Are their any plans to update XGterm to be able to use the newer fonts provided by many of the distributions, ie "monospace".
Would look much nicer that the standard X fonts now available :)

There aren't plans to specifically support new fonts, however XGterm is able to use any of the fonts currently on your system and supported by the X11 server. The '-fn' commandline flag can be used to name the font, see the 'XTerm' man page for additional flags that control fonts.

Hi Mike,
Thansk for that, however "-fn" does not support TTF fonts and I notice that xgterm does have the -fa option. :(
Oh well, back to writing tasks ...
