Hello, i'm reading the daophot manual by Massey and Davis and have few questions... i observed landolt fields 92, 95 and 113 with 20x20 arcmin square FOV, so, i have like 10 or 13 standard stars per field. Each field was observed in V, R and I at different airmasses each. I read about the all-in-one reduction that calculates by least square both extinction and transformation coefs. What i didn't understand very well is the photcal files setup. Correct me if i'm wrong... i must create in some text editor a file containing the landolt fields followed by (:) and the images of that particular field, no matter the filter i used...? and then run mknobsfile or mkobsfile to photcal prepare the thing... because i type "lpar mknobsfile" and says that no such task exist.
What i already did so far is run "daofind" on each image and after that ran "phot" interactive to do photometry only on landolt stars, so i have the .coo and .mag files and the images... al in the same directory... Another thing is that CTIO images are in fits format and i have no problem on running the Massey script (adapted by myself for 2x2 binning), but i read something that photcal runs only over .imh format...

I'm not an expert in this type of analysis but if you are still having problems let me know and I'll look at this more closely. It seems to me that you are making progress up the learning curve and may be able to figure this out yourself.
