psf generation

Hi!
'm currently trying to do crowded field photometry, but before I can continue with the "phot" task, I need a usable psf for my image. I could get a star that is in a clean region, bright, with a fwhm of 2.7 pixels and no other stars close to it. So instead of creating a psf by using a number of stars, I just used this one star. Everything worked fine in the "daophot > psf" task, unitl I got to the interactive "irafterm" window. No keystrokes worked there and I cannot do an interactive fit of my psf, although I see the 3D psf map of my star. I cannot even quit out of the irafterm window. I suppose it is a software problem? I got a waring pasted below, which I think has something to do with my problem. Just below the warning I also pasted the general parameters.
Could somebody give me a clue about the origin of the error please?
Thanks
Lientjie

The warning about the graphics overlay is normal and can be safely ignored. The problem with entering commands may simply be a matter of window focus, i.e. you may need to click on the border of the graphics window in order that keystrokes will be sent to that window. If you have to normally click-to-focus then this is your problem.
Otherwise, do other interactive tasks like IMPLOT work normally? Does the CL command prompt come back in the text window or does the task appear to be waiting for cursor input?
Cheers,
-Mike
