Hi
I have problem with extraction of spectra when spectra don't fit whole line. I use apall and i find aperture but want to "cut" only pixels between 500-1500?

Frank may have a better suggestion, or maybe I misunderstand, but wouldn't simply using an image section for the 500-1500 pixel region do what you want????
