apropos doesn't seem to work on iraf any more and it never worked on pyraf.
What have I forgotten? How to I search for an application?
What is the application to calculate parallactic angles.

APROPOS is a task in STSDAS, the core IRAF equivalent is the REFERENCES task or you can use the banner bar to do an apropos-search (w/ references task). See the ASTCALC task for computing angles (e.g. the arcsep() function.
