Hello!

I'm looking for a file which should be in one the directories inside onedstds$ for a particular spectroscopic standard file g71.dat.

I can't find it anywhere.

I tryed to keep it from:

http://www.naoj.org/Observing/Instruments/FOCAS/Detail/UsersGuide/Observing/StandardStar/Spec/SpecStandard.html

but the format is completely different

or from:

http://stsdas.stsci.edu/cgi-bin/gethelp.cgi?appendix

or from the ESO web pages.... but I didn't find it! Sad

someone can help me please??

I need to have it in the standard IRAF format compatible with the file ctioextinct.dat

THANKS so much!!!!

have a nice day

Silvia from Italy!

I'm not sure what star is G71. Do you mean GD71 or EG71?

The only two places that have a fairly complete list of standards (at least up to some date) are the IRAF onedstds directory and the ESO library. The main confusion with the ESO source is to make sure and get the one that has flux values in magnitudes.
