trouble installing IRAF

What am I expected to type at this prompt:

IRAF hlib$ directory (/tmpp/iraf):

I tried /usr/local/lib but that doesn't seem to make the installer happy.

What installer is this, that isn't a prompt from the normal IRAF installation script? In any case, the hlib$ directory is $iraf/unix/hlib/
