GUIAPPS 8bit

Dear Sir ,
 
we have very long waited for the [b:45a282e4fe]GUIAPPS[/b:45a282e4fe]  with more than only 8bit , please let us know if there is any hope to gave it more than the little 8bit , I think it deserves more bits , I have written to you before more than tow years about that, I wish you all the best and thanks foe your efforts to develop IRAF .

The GUIAPPS package uses the same custom Gterm widget as XImtool and so has the 8-bit limitation. The workarounds of e.g. using VNC apply to this package as well, otherwise once/if the 24-bit XImtool is available GUIAPPS will likewise work on TrueColor displays.
