(IRAF Config) Requirements

Good Morning,

I'm a Brazillian student on astrophysics. I would like to use the IRAF, but I have few doubts:

1- What are the hardware requirements to use IRAF?
2- How can I install IRAF in PC LINUX?

There was/is an FAQ about this and nothing has really changed. Unless your PC is more than about 10 years old hardware is not an issue. Linux distros are for the most part all supported in one way or another, post specifics if this becomes an issue.

2- How can I install IRAF in PC LINUX?

See either the Downloads or Docs links below the banner bar above this site for the needed installation guide and README files. Post questions if you have problems.
