IRAF on dual core machine?

Hello IRAF folks, thanks for making such a great product freely available.
I have been enjoying using IRAF for years and have installed it on many
machines.

I am considering purchasing a laptop with a dual-core (T2300) processor
and plan on putting redhat fedora linux on it. Will the PCIX binaries
work with the dual core processor?
