FITPARAMS

rdzudzar wrote on Feb 13, 2017

Hi,

I'm new to iraf and have problem for which i have no idea what is wrong. I made configuration file, observational file and standard star catalog file. I'm getting :

"#UNMATCHED OBJECTS

ERROR: segmentation violation"

I check 10 times names in the observational file and standard star file, they match! -If I intentionally put wrong name, then it reports which file i entered wrong:

#UNMATCHED OBJECTS

File: griz.stdobs Object: GRIZJ1446069-452731 was unmatched

ERROR: segmentation violatio

My fitparams entries are:

observat= griz.stdobs

catalogs= griz.std

config = grizconfig

paramete= fit.paramr

Can someone suggest me what is wrong? -or what to test?

I saw that some people are using catalogs name as 'nlandolt' and works - as the official catalog, however I have griz standards from the southern hemisphere from catalog E6-A, and E6-B. Do I need to put this files in the iraf catalog directory maybe? -- in that case how can i do it?

Thank you for your time,

Best regards,

Robert
