SDSS catalogs in astcat

Hello,
I have a simple question. Is it possible to access the SDSS catalogs from the ASTCAT package and if yes, what changes should be made to the relevant database files? I would like to be able to access the images, as well as the photometric and astrometric information. Such a feature will be very useful in many situations.

The answer depends on which SDSS catalog you want to access, and specifically whether there is a simple http GET url to access it. The database of services is defined by the ASTCAT 'catdb' and 'imdb' package parameters, see "help catalogs" and "help surveys" for a description of the format. In the longer term, access to all VO data services is planned.

I am mainly interested in the photometric DR7 (or 6) catalog (the catalogs that can be accessed from DS9). Access to the SDSS images would also be helpful.
