rvidlines won’t calculate radial velocity

I am having trouble with the rvidlines task. It displays the spectrum correctly and correctly identifies the spectral lines I am interested in, and tells me what the shifted wavelength is, but it will not calculate a radial velocity; I just get 0 all the time. Does anyone know how to fix this?

If you could post a screenshot of your parameters as well as a couple of sample spectra I might be able to figure out the problem.

I think I have figured it out. It doesn't seem to be reading the date and time of the observation properly, and therefore cannot correct for the Earth's motion through space.
