rvsao on mac

hudge86 wrote on Nov 23, 2009

Hi,

I'm trying to install rvsao on my macbook running snow leopard, but
I keep getting an error which says xx_rvsao.e file missing. I've followed the
installation process on http://tdc-www.harvard.edu/iraf/rvsao/, but it doesn't seem
to work.

Thanks.

RVSAO requires that you compile with "mkpkg -p rvsao update" in order to install the binary in the proper place. If there was an error in the compilation, you'll need to take it up with the author. Pre-built macintel binaries of the latest version are in the download area (http://iraf.net/ftp/iraf/extern/rvsao-2.7.8-bin.macintel.tar.gz)

I've installed the binaries and now it works
perfectly fine. :D

Thank you for the quick reply.
