Removing one aperture using scopy

rohit wrote on Aug 27, 2009

Incidently while searching the forum, I found a question similar to one I answered. However this is slightly different.

I have echelle spectrum of a target with 11 apertures. I would like to remove the last aperture from the spectrum. How would I do that?

Thanks in advance,

I'm not sure I understand the question, doesn't specifying apertures="1-10" do what you want?

Duh! I never thought of that! I had only learnt how to create 1 aperture spectra from echelle spectra. Did not know you could specify multiple apertures at once!

Thanks Mike!
