Doslit identify database error (pyraf)

Hello,
I am using pyraf from STSci (on an Intel Mac running 10.5.6) to script my IRAF reductions in python. But I'm getting an error when running doslit after computing the dispersion solution. I can extract the spectrum, find the trace, identify lines and get a good wavelength solution, but when quitting the identify task with 'q', it crashes as follows:
> doslit Feb14/c0030master-iraf.fits arcs=Feb14/c0030masterwavelength-iraf.fits
Determine dispersion solution for Feb14/c0030masterwavelength-iraf

I don't think the database name is able to correctly handle the directory prefix, try running it from the 'Feb14' directory itself. You might also try creating an iraf logical directory and use that instead, e.g.
This may fail in a similar manner, however. Frank will comment if I'm too far off.

cl> set data = "Feb14/" <--- trailing '/' required
cl> doslit data$c0030master-iraf.fits arcs=data$c0030masterwavelength-iraf.fits

Ok, I've gotten around this in my script by changing the current working directory before running the doslit task. This lets identify run to completion.
Thanks.
The doslit tasks that run before identify (such as apall) handle the directory in the filename correctly. Is this, then, a bug in identify?

I remember there was a general problem a while back with tasks that create an id subdirectory when used with images that contained directory elements. It could be the same issue but something just overlooked, in any case I'll have to leave it to Frank to comment and fix.

The analysis sounds correct. The only action taken right now is to add a bug log entry to allow users to discover that this is a known problem and to recommend working in the the data directory.
