Flux calibration

Hi
I am trying to flux calibrate my sources. The spectrum that i got from the standard star (HD 93521) is not in the list that IRAF (standard) has. I found a txt file with a full spectrum of the star.
How should i enter path in order for the program to read the file?
I used /home/anestis/data/HD93521.dat in the caldir parameter of standard but it didn't like it. My grism covers from 3500 to 5050 A. So my other question is should i include the whole spectrum or only the part of interest?

I believe you are asking about the standard star files used by IRAF and the STANDARD task? If you read the help page you will find a section describing the format and content of the standard star files, basically a text file with three columns. The key thing is the second column must be m_AB values over some wavelength interval. The intervals can be as find as single pixels in a flux calibrated spectrum or some wider bins where you integrate the spectrum.
