RVIDLINES & FXCOR: coordinate list and template spectra

Hi Folks, I am wondering if there are coordinate lists circulating around for use in RVIDLINES with O-B type spectra, and late-type spectra. Is there also a set viable for M-type stars(?) I have found merely a small handful of lines listed in the literature, and they are typically confined to a small wavelength range. For example, the spectra I am working with typically range from 3700-5300 Angstroms.

Regarding FXCOR, are there template spectra available for O-B and late-type stars(?)

I am not aware of any general stellar line lists. This does not mean there aren't however so you will just have to search. I would be nice to have such a resource.

Morning Frank, let me open by thanking you(!) This forum has been especially useful. Most often one stumbles upon the answers to their questions in old posts, so I am providing the information below for those users. As a starting pint, here are some lists of spectral lines that are useful for spectral types B0-B9, see:

I also found the database of Kurucz to be useful: http://www.cfa.harvard.edu/amp/ampdata/kurucz23/sekur.html

Secondly, with regards to B-type spectra being available for the determination of radial velocities by means of cross-correlation and the testing of an adopted line list for RVIDLINES, I found the archive of Walborn & Fitzpatrick ( http://cdsarc.u-strasbg.fr/viz-bin/VizieR-2?-source=III/195 ) to be useful as a starting point. One can download flux-normalized spectra from that Vizier url. Most often it is the case that folks use synthetic spectra for cross-correlation, or even better, standards of the same spectral type that they observed concurrent to their targets.
