How to get splot to overplot in same aperture?

Hello,
After combining 3 spectra I want to overplot the result with the original spectra. First I splot the combined spectra:
I look at other apertures by using the â(â and â)â keys. Now I see a spike in aperture 19. I want to make sure that this is real emission line and not cosmic ray. So in the irafterm, I type o then g.
When I hit Enter, or type the name of another image, it does not plot the image in aperture 19. For example it will say:
I can get it to overplot in the correct aperture only if I do
If there are many apertures and images to look at, doing this for every aperture will be :( Is there an easier way?
Second question is: How possible is it that in 2 out of 3 images, a cosmic ray hit at the same wavelength? :?: Its weird bcos the 3rd image does not have that peak.
