help with daophot

Dear iraf team,
I have a problem in entering in the daophot task.
I can enter in apphot, but not in the other 3 tasks inside digiphot.
This is the error I get:
"
ERROR on line 16: task `tables' has no param file
daophot ()
"
The same for photcal and ptools.
How can I solve it?

Is it a frequent problem or it just happens once? I sometimes have such a problem but then when I close xgterm and open it again, everything works fine.

These packages require that the TABLES package also be installed in your system. TABLES must be installed separately from the main system and is available as source and pre-built binaries (the src is required even if you use the binaries) from the download area on this site or the STScI archive at ftp://ftp.stsci.edu/software/stsdas.
