doing CCDPROC on fit format image
sochuwing wrote on Oct 20, 2008
Hi,
I am going to use NOAO CCDPROC task to process sets of frames in .fit format. The task worked fine for zerocombine and a combined Zero.fit was created. However, when I went to the next step darkcombine, it stopped and it said that Zero.fit was not found and the Zero.fit changed to Zero.imh. I'd set imtype = "fit" and modified the login.cl. Please help!! Thank you.

Hello,
I am a new user , this problem troubles me few days ago, fortunately, it has been solved .
I think if you set the parameters of DARKCOMBINE
Maybe the task DARKCOMBINE will run.
I hope this advice is useful to you.
good luck!

(process = no) Process images before combining?
(ccdtype = " ") CCD image type to combine

Hi S. K. Li,
thanks for your suggestion. darkcombine worked after setting
I must set ccdtype to dark otherwise all other type of frames will be processed.
Anyway, I set image type to .fit by
then everything go right including flatcombine
