deblending by splot

Dear Mike, and anyone else,
I use SPLOT to measure blended emission lines in 1-D spectrum. But I faced with this case. After typing d key, I am asked "fit positions (fixed, single, all, quit)?" and "fit Gaussian widths (fixed, single, all, quit)?". I don't know what does that mean, and how to do the choice. I can't find relevant suggestions in HELP. Would you please help me?

The various prompts are for the different parameters that can be fit, in your case the center position and width of each of the blended gaussians. A value of 'fixed' means that you want to fix the value at the initial setting and not let it vary (e.g. to nail down the line position). A 'single' means it can vary by a single offset, e.g. the doppler shift as a constant offset to each of the features. 'All' simply means to fit that parameter independently for each feature (e.g. the center position you marked it just a starting guess, find the fitted value).
