problems with spectool on mac intel machines.

Dear helpdesk,
I appear to have a problem with spectool on intel macs. The error
occurs in spectra with errors included. The spectrum without errors
reads in fine but when errors are included, a division by zero error
occurs.
This appears to be solely mac related since the task works just fine
on a sun machine and on a linux (suse) box.
Is there any workaround for the mac version for this?
The spectrum is attached to this mail.
