msczero (again)

hello,
I am trying to use msczero on a mosaic cfh12k image, however, when I use the z key I get the following error:
Cursor position not in an image
I tryied the solution suggested many times in this forum of setting
disable_wcs_maps="" and then flpr
but it does not solve the problem.
I have installed iraf on my mac using the latest version released on the ESO web site, and I am using DS9 to display the images.
Any suggestions?
Best,
Claudia

I'd first check to see that you're using the latest version of DS9 (you can get it from ftp://sao-ftp.cfa.harvard.edu/pub/rd/ds9). I believe this error came back briefly in one release but has since been fixed.
By "ESO website" are you referring to the SciSoft release? You can determine the exact version of IRAF you're using with the command
Please post this if you still have problems. Also, are you using DS9 to load the image in standalone more or the DISPLAY/MSCDISPLAY task?
Cheers,
-Mike

Hi Mike,
thanks, it is working properly now that I installed the latest version of ds9.
The version included in the scisoft release was really old.
Thanks again
