pappend task

Hi all
Q! What happened to the pappend task. I worked through some psf photometry manuals, and a few of them mentions pappend if you want to add two files while finetuning the psf.
But when I try to find it in IRAF, -> No package, no help file....
If someone can help.
Was it removed as obsolete?

Hi Pat,
Good question. I couldn't find any record that these tasks had been explicitly removed, but my guess is their functionality was taken over by the tasks in the TABLES package instead when DAOPHOT was installed in the core system (no record of pappend since '93). In the case of 'pappend' it would probably be the TMERGE task to append two tables.
