How to use the command ASTHEDIT ?

Hi all
I have a problem with "asthedit" , could somebody help me?
That when i get the raw date of ccd-picture, finished the "rfix"
I find that the "DATE-OBS" in image head is the day of which day i shot the picture, such as "2006-01-09"
but when i use the "mst" in "asthedit" , should i change this day to UT-date?

The FITS standard says the DATE-OBS keyword should follow the prescriptions for the DATE keyword, the DATE keyword should be defined in UTC. However, it also says the DATE-OBS keyword should be in the same time system as the primary header....seems like a conflict to me. In any case, DATE-OBS is typically in UT so you should probably convert.
