The size of combined frames…

Hi,
Does anyone encounter with the problem that:
After combined all the frames, say biases, the size of combined Master Bias is become equal to 2 times of a bias frame. e.g. if one bias has 422KB size, the combined has 844 KB.
Is it a problem?
Because other mostly using programs (AIP or MaximDL) don't do that. Master frames have same size with others.
