Doecslit ‘sparams’ and Apall parameters
Ian Roederer wrote on Jun 05, 2006
Hello,
I have been using the DOECSLIT task to extract echelle spectra. I have tried to adjust the parameters for the trace using the 'sparams' within DOECSLIT, but with no success in extracting my spectra the way that I want. When I look at the parameters available for the trace in the APALL task, there are several additional ones available, such as t_nsum and t_nlost.
Is there a way to access (and adjust) these additional parameters when running DOECSLIT, or will I need to use APALL and other tasks to extract my spectra?
Thanks very much,
Ian

Frank is the best person to answer this, however there is a hidden pset called APSLITPROC that might be useful. See

Hi Mike,
The APSLITPROC parameter set worked nicely. Thanks for your help.
