Converting fits file into data points

Hello All,

I would like to know a command or sets of commands I need to use to convert a fits file into data points for plotting. Well, I have a plot Flux vs wavelength. I would like to use IRAF to obtain two data-point columns, Flux and wavelength, so that I can plot the same in Excel for example.
