Hi Frank,

we have being testing the new version of "soimosaic", modified by you
and, after a quick fix (0 instead of "0") in the imcombine its working
fine, including fractional pixel shifts.

Thanks a lot for your help.

My best wishes,

Eduardo

Hola Eduardo,

Thanks for the data.  I did not try to understand the error message
which has to do with the way some world coordinate keywords are being
handled.  I think MOVEHEADER was written for a specific situation
with HST data.   I also see IMTILE is limited in that it does not
move do anything reasonable with the header information.  As I
mentioned, I recommend using IMCOMBINE with the offsets="grid"
option.  I have taken the liberty of modifying your script
so it works as you want.

Regards,
Frank

Dear Frank Valdez,

no problems at all !

Unfrotunatelly, since most users will want to bin the CCD's fractional
pixel shifting in needed.

In

ftp://ftp.ctio.noao.edu/cypriano/Frank

you may find two images: mosaiced and non-mosaiced, as well as a
copy of
the script used for the mosaicing.

You may find the headers of those images (5 for the non-mosaiced
one and 1
for the mosaiced) attached to this e-mail.

Bye,

Eduardo
