help with SAOImage

Greetings listers. I'm and undergrad astro major and I just got set up with IRAF. I'll be using this with SAOImage to study a hubble image of a wind-blown dust bubble. THe problem is that I have NEVER used either of these programs before and, while my advisor will be helping me with most of the calculations, I'd like to develop some familiarity with IRAF and SAOImage. Does anyone know of a tutorial or something that I could look at? THanks in advance...
