NUMBER: 11 KEYWORDS: Debian, LNUX, IRAF platforms DATE: Wed Jan 19 09:07:38 MST 2005 FROM: fitz Q: Is there any distribution of IRAF compatible with the Debian linux? A: The standard PC-IRAF system supports Debian using the LNUX architecture. You'll need the as.pcix.gen source distribution, and the ib.lnux.x86 (core IRAF) and nb.lnux.x86 (NOAO package) binaries as well as the pciraf.ps installation guide (all files compressed so note the .gz extensions). See also the README file. You can download the files from our archive in ftp://iraf.noao.edu/iraf/v212/PCIX.
